**The pay scale above is the compensation range that the Company reasonably expects to pay for this position. Within this range, individual pay is determined by several factors including, but not limited to, specific skills, relevant work experience, relevant education and/or training, and performance related bonuses and incentives

Here’s what you’ll be doing:

Forecast goals and objectives for the Used Car Department Prepare and administer an annual operating budget to meet goals and objectivesWork closely with other department managers to ensure cooperation and teamwork throughout the dealershipRecruit, hire, train, motivate, counsel, and monitor the performance of all Used Vehicle Sales EmployeesDirect and schedule the activities of all Used Car Department employeesGuide all salespeople in setting their objectives on a short- and long-range basisHold a weekly one-on-one meeting with each salesperson to review current goals, performance, and work planDevelop and organize a training schedule, as directed by the General Sales Manager and the Ken Garff processes, to ensure that each salesperson receives sales training and/or role-playing sessions regularlyAssist all sales associates with closing deals when necessary as every customer must talk to a manager before leaving the dealership when possibleAssist in developing programs of improvement for those sales associates who are failing to reach their objectivesFollow Ken Garff guidelines and process regarding customer negotiations and desking proceduresRecommend to the General Sales Manager or General Manager the used car inventory to be carriedAssist in the development of advertising campaigns and other promotionsFollow up on all leads and increase ROI on online marketingOther duties as assigned

Here’s what you’ll need:

Minimum of 3 years of experience working as a Used Car ManagerMinimum of 2 years leading a high performing sales teamExperience in F&I is highly desired but not a requirementMust be able to provide references upon requestHigh School diploma or equivalent, college degree preferredMust be 18 years or older and be authorized to work in the U.SHigh School Diploma or equivalentA valid in-state driver's license and a good driving record, per company standards
