Job Title: Electrical Design Engineer

Job Description

The Electrical Design Engineer will lead and implement product design initiatives within the Electrical/Electronic/Control System discipline, operating in a fast-paced, innovation-focused environment. Responsibilities include providing system analysis of customer applications and conducting root cause analysis of product and customer system issues.

ResponsibilitiesPerform feasibility analysis for new product development projects.Design systems for new products.Assemble a multi-disciplined development team.Lead the project development team, being responsible for all aspects of the program.Interface with internal customers such as Production, Quality, and Procurement to drive program requirements.Establish, track, and drive program schedules and costs.Report program status clearly and concisely to customers and management.Motivate the development team, especially during long hours on late programs.Efficiently transition new products to production.Assist in initial product builds.Establish a personal time management system.Display professional demeanor and attire when representing the company to customers and suppliers.Mentor engineers in schematic design, layout design, PCB design, and electrical engineering.Essential SkillsProficiency in FPGA, with a strong preference for Xilinx and Verilog.Experience in schematic design.Competency in layout design.Familiarity with Orcad.Knowledge of communications or fiber optics.Experience with Xilinx or Verilog.Proficiency in C programming language.Work Environment

This role is 100% onsite in a fast-paced environment with multiple projects running simultaneously.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $32.00 - $35.00/hr.
