**Job Title: Electronics Assembler**
**Job Description**
Join a dynamic team engaged in a variety of assembly tasks ranging from repetitive to non-repetitive production operations on electronic and mechanical assemblies and subassemblies. Utilize diagrams and drawings to create initial layouts using hand and power tools, jigs, and saws. Conduct continuity checks on work in progress and completed, and perform quality inspections on the processing line to adhere to quality specifications. Disassemble, modify, rework, reassemble, and test experimental or prototype assemblies and subassemblies according to specifications.
**Responsibilities**
+ Perform repetitive and non-repetitive production assembly operations on electronic and mechanical assemblies.
+ Work from diagrams and drawings to make initial layouts.
+ Use hand and power tools, jigs, and saws for assembly tasks.
+ Conduct continuity checks and quality inspections in accordance with specifications.
+ Disassemble, modify, rework, reassemble, and test assemblies and subassemblies.
**Essential Skills**
+ Blueprint reading
+ Production assembly experience
+ Soldering skills
+ Experience with IPC 610 and IPC 620 standards
+ Electronics testing and troubleshooting
+ Mechanical assembly proficiency
+ Hand tool operation
+ Microscope usage for detailed work
+ Electrical and PCB assembly
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ IPC-610 Certification
+ IPC-620 Certification
+ IPC J-STD-001 Certification
+ IPC-A-600 Certification
+ IPC/WHMA-A-620 Certification
+ IPC-7711/IPC-7721 Certification
+ One-year experience in soldering/cable assembly
+ Good manual dexterity and mechanical build experience
+ Experience in Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) environments
+ Proficiency with hand tools and cable termination
+ Crimping specifications familiarity and tool usage
+ Strong written, oral, and computer skills
+ Ability to work from electronic work instructions
+ Experience with manual and automatic wire strippers

**Work Environment**
The role is based in a huge, regulated, and safety-conscious manufacturing facility in Oldsmar, Florida. The facility is climate controlled, providing air-conditioned and well-spaced-out workstations. Employees can choose between 1st shift (5 am - 3:30 pm, Monday to Thursday) and 2nd shift (3:30 pm - 2 am, Monday to Thursday), with Fridays scheduled off.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of OLDSMAR, FL.

**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $30.00/hr.
