Here’s the Gist:
As an emergency response specialist, you will play a key role in the operation and success of the emergency response program, protecting Wolfspeed’s people, property, and processes at an assigned location.  This position works with colleagues from production, Environmental Health and Safety, Facilities, and external emergency response agencies to prepare for, respond to and recover from emergency incidents. You will function as an incident commander, hazardous materials technician and/or emergency medical technician during emergencies.

The Day-to-Day

Safely respond to fire, medical, and hazardous materials emergencies at an assigned Wolfspeed locationPerform life safety and fire protection systems checks to ensure operational readinessMaintain an awareness and communicate information and activities that may result in an emergency response.Perform PPE and equipment cleaning, maintenance, inspection and repair to ensure operational readinessCollect and report information related to non-emergency and emergency activities

This Job is Right for You if You Have (Minimum Requirements):

Experience responding to medical, hazardous material, and/or fire emergenciesAt least two of the following: certification as a hazardous materials technician, emergency medical technician, or firefighterAbility to accomplish work goals independently and with colleagues in peer work groups

This role may require additional duties and/or assignments as designated by management.

The posted salary range is what Wolfspeed reasonably expects to pay for this position. Actual pay for a hired applicant will be determined based on the individual’s job-relevant qualifications, experience, and other determinative factors. In the event it is determined that a different job level upon hire is warranted then that range will be communicated to the hired applicant as soon as reasonably practicable.

Compensation Range:

$20.60 - $28.33
