Now Hiring - Employment Specialist\n

The Arc Wayne, a human services agency, is seeking to hire Employment Specialists to assist individuals with Intellectual\/Developmental Disabilities in various vocational settings (janitorial, retail, food service, manufacturing, etc...). This position supports and offers guidance to individuals who are preparing for, obtaining, or maintaining employment. Choose from flexible schedules and have an opportunity to make a positive difference in someone's life.\n

Employment Specialist Responsibilities:\n\nAssist individuals to identify their work skills and interests through assessments and job exploration\nFacilitate job readiness classes\nProvide step by step instruction in the workplace\nWork with individuals to develop proper work habits\nAssist employers with development of training techniques\/strategies\n\n

Qualifications:\n\nWill consider combinations of education and experience\nCurrent, Valid NYS driver's license that meets agency standards\n\n

Work Schedule: Monday through Friday 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. with flexibility based on program needs. \n
