Enablement Program Manager

As a function of Datadog’s Go-to-Market (GTM) Enablement department, the Technical Solutions (TS) Enablement team assists with knowledge sharing, continuing education, training materials, and maintaining internal processes for our in-house product experts. Our GTM Enablement org works with a best-of-breed product that solves real problems for our customers. We assist with sharing technical and product expertise with the Technical Solutions team through demos, e-learning, live training, documentation, and ongoing support.

We are looking for an Enablement Program Manager to help grow, empower, and maintain our Technical Solutions Global Technical Support organization by leading:

Program/project development

Knowledge and tools management

Organizational effectiveness

Global process optimization 

Knowledge transmission

Support a world class Global Technical Support organization to operate at scale with a focus on improving the quality and speed of customer support efforts. All of this must be done by building an ecosystem of self-service solutions.

This position requires strong customer focus, excellent written and verbal communication, organization, and ability to work with geographically diverse cross functional groups. Managing multiple contexts, tasks, conversations, and projects at once is crucial.

What You'll Do:

Observe and improve training, tool, information, and processes for our Technical Solutions Global Technical Support team

Collaborate with and gather feedback from support teams to deliver quality solutions to the organization

Work with other subject matter experts such as Engineering, Growth Strategy, and Product Management to organize and communicate information that improves support team performance

Help develop world class ramping and everboarding programs for all support team roles

Create and maintain global processes to be implemented within the Global Technical Support team

Maintain a high level of expertise by staying current in relevant technology, best practices, tools, and applications

Who You Are:

4 + years in a combination of technical learning and development, technical enablement, 

OR 4+ years experience program managing using project management tools or best practices

AND 2+ years Experience with support operations OR working to support Technical/Customer teams

Develop and coordinate solutions with a variety of geographically distributed stakeholders 

Well organized and ability to pivot quickly

Ability to break down complex ideas into simple, easily digestible concepts

Ability to solve both technical and non-technical problems independently and deliver solutions to others

A passion for teaching and the innate ability to turn confusion and frustration into “aha” moments

Bonus Points:

Experience presenting program effectiveness 

Previous experience of delivering content virtually or in-person to large audiences

Experience with curriculum creation 

Working knowledge and understanding of cloud computing and SaaS

Previous Datadog customer or employee
