What Software Engineering contributes to Cardinal Health

Software Engineering is responsible for designing, developing, implementing and supporting applications, systems, and IT products required to achieve the company's business objectives.

Communicating effectively with team members and the client.Demonstrate ability to identify and define a module using the appropriated Oracle Method.Demonstrate ability to map semi-complex entities to tables, functions to modules and processes to menus.Contribute to the design of detailed module design documents and specifications.Demonstrate clear understanding of Oracle ERP Architecture.Demonstrate solid ability to build, test, and implement custom applications using core development tools (e.g., Designer, Developer, JDeveloper).

Responsibilities:

Acts as a liaison between the organization, application vendors, and  technology staff to ensure technical solutions meet organization policies and regulatory requirements. Responsible for successfully designing and managing the delivery of internal and external business systems/applications, systems interfaces and technologiesBuilds solution architectures that align requirements, reference architectures design patterns and technology standards to achieve solution agility and speed to implementationPossess strong problem solving and communication skills. Must be able to articulate an issue, accurately identify solution options and communicate the best course of action to the internal stakeholders.Working closely with Product Managers, Solution Architects and directly with customers to architect technology solutions to meet business partner's needs.Enforcing sound development practices and ensure the quality delivery of enterprise solutionsWorking closely with development team (Onshore & Offshore) and keep the development on trackUtilizes development skills to build (code) and unit test new systems functionality per technical specifications, with deliverables to include code builds and documented unit test results.Evaluate existing solutions and recommend potential cloud-enabled solutionsWork in Oracle eBusiness Suite and ancillary application in an Agile development environmentAs sit in designing, leading and delivering technology solutions around our order-to-cash, procure-to-pay, inventory and financials area.   I

Qualifications:

BA/BS in Computer Science or related field preferred, or equivalent experience preferredExperience leading/supporting technical development on Oracle DBA 11+ and Oracle eBusiness Suite (EBS) 12.1+.Strong AP, AR, Subledger, and Ledger Integration experience on a Federal Financials project is preferred.Strong skills in SCM Modules is preferred.Experience leading a new application implementation or major application/hardware upgrade preferred.Knowledge on API architecture, microservice architecture is a plus.Knowledge on Cloud architecture, SaaS is a plus.Knowledge on Oracle Fusion technologies is a plus.Working knowledge of Oracle development tools, PL/SQL, Forms, Java, System Administration, Workflow, and AME a plusThorough understanding of Oracle EBS inter-modular relationships required.Familiarity with warehouse management systems, Data Warehouse integration.Practical experience interacting with Oracle Support to resolve technical issues required.Advanced written and verbal communication skills with ability to organize and communicate thoughts in a user-friendly manner required.Ability to prepare and present technical solution/infrastructure recommendations required.

Anticipated salary range: $92,100 - $131,600
