The Engineering Specialist performs work in operations, production, construction or maintenance environments. Responsibilities are within the Engineering Function as a generalist or in a combination of disciplines. The Engineering Specialist has a strong understanding of Lean Manufacturing tools, knowledge of or has worked in SolidWorks and is detailed oriented with a strong sense of customer service skills that includes relationship building with urgency to deliver a high quality outcome.

 

Experience with CAD/CAM software is required in platforms such as SolidWorks, Mastercam X9, 2018-2020 or Fusion 360 with strong knowledge of GD&T such as ASME Y14.5-2018.

 

Major Position Responsibilities Applies standard engineering techniques to design, analyze, test, maintain, repair, or improve products, components, or assemblies. Analyzes, develops and evaluates systems. Improves and maintains current systems or creates brand new projects. Designs and drafts blueprints, visits systems in the field and manages projects. Applies engineering techniques and analyses within the scope of the assignment. Basic Qualifications Required Education: Vocational/Technical Training Degree or Equivalent Combination of Relevent Engineering Education &/or ExperiencePreferred Education: Associate's Degree2- 4 years of experienceOral and written communication skills. Critical thinking. Analytical thinking. Problem solving skills. Mathematic skills. Computer skills. Technical expertise.Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) Pay Range (USD) $65,450 - $121,550 Additional Compensation Hired applicant may be eligible to participate in the Company’s Gain Sharing Program.
