The Job At-A-Glance:

The Enterprise Resource Manager is a highly effective, outcome-driven professional who is used to working in a fast-paced, complex environment. The Enterprise Resource Manager will be responsible for managing supply and demand effectively by determining the best staffing solution for potential and assigned client engagements - balancing client interests, staffing needs, and business priorities. This role will contribute to the growth of our business, solutions, and geographies; support professional development for the team, and workforce planning to ensure we have the right people with the right skills available at the right time.

A Typical Day:

Partners and liaisons among Services Delivery Teams, Programs, and Business Leaders to assist in identifying current staffing needs and job requirements to ensure optimal coverage for the project portfolio.Drives strategic initiatives like migration to new project management tool, risk indicator model for success and services, cost optimization and pricing for global teams.Assigns professional services employees to specific client engagement projects with a goal of effectively balancing resource utilization needs with planning targets, skills allocation, actual utilization, and staffing levelsMonitors current resource availability in assigned areas and determines the approach to resourcing needs based upon current staff.Oversees day-to-day staffing operations to balance the needs of the associate, client, and business, make the best use of resources, and find the right fit for client engagements.Communicates capacity risks and forecasts to the management team, and provide context to assist leaders in managing stakeholder expectationsRuns weekly resource meeting and facilitate resourcing issues/conflict resolution with Delivery Managers and appropriate department headsWorks to resolve any issues regarding under or over allocations of current resources/employees.Develops data-driven utilization and forecasting models to scale the business for the future, helping to translate business needs into an actionable staffing modelAssists in resourcing project transitions including employee updates to skill repositories.Works on resource management initiatives that may include: processes, tools, and reporting capabilities to support staffing, utilization management, and resource forecastingPartners with talent acquisition (recruiting) and Human Resource Business Partners to facilitate appropriate staffing across the department based on aggregate understanding of project requirements. Provides input to talent acquisition and talent management strategy for assigned areas.Partners across the business to optimize job descriptions, skills matrices, and training paths to develop and encourage teams, contributing to a culture of engaged and evolving talentAssists employees and managers in matching individuals' skills with the organization's staffing needs. Assigns individual skills to guide appropriate job placement decisions and identify individuals for development.Builds relationships with leadership to become a trusted advisor to achieve business objectives and manage conflict resolutionAddresses and/or mediates employee and manager concerns during selections and transitions to ensure good working relationships. Ensures assignment information is appropriately communicated and documented.

Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in (relevant degree) and a minimum of 5 years of related experience; or an advanced degree with 3+ years of experience; or equivalent related work experience.5+ years of consulting and professional services experienceAgile exposure preferred (CSM or CSPO)Experience building documentation and project plans using MS Project, Excel, Word, and PowerPointGood hands-on experience of MS Visio, Lucid charts etc.Exposure to Jira, Salesforce, Qualtrics, PowerBIExperience working with and drawing meaningful business insights from raw data and data visualizations, and using data to craft a narrativeExperience with (and ability to learn) project and resource management toolsHighly effective in ambiguous situations, with a continuous improvement approach and strong critical thinking skillsStrong organizational communication and problem-solving skills, with experience gaining consensus across large and complex organizationsDemonstrated analytic and data management capabilities and reporting presentation of complex data, and solid ability to explain insights to business partners
