**Entry-Level Distribution Engineer** Location **Austin** Job Code **16089** \# of openings **1** Apply Now (https://phh.tbe.taleo.net/phh04/ats/careers/v2/applyRequisition?org=POWERENGINEERS&cws=44&rid=16089) **Entry-Level Distribution Engineer** POWER Engineers, Inc. is seeking an Entry-Level Distribution Engineer for the Power Delivery Distribution Department in our Austin, Texas office. **Roles and Responsibilities** + Entry-level position entails performing distribution design, basic engineering calculations, as well as a variety of other tasks as assigned by utility clients + Distribution design typically includes, but not limited to, physical design, electrical design, and developing a bill of materials **Required Education/Experience** + Engineering degree, from an ABET accredited university, preferably with a power option + The candidate must have strong command of the English language with good written and oral communication skills to work effectively with internal team members and external client personnel + Strong knowledge and understanding of electrical engineering upon which to build + Must be able to successfully pass client's background screening process + Must have a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record **Desired Education/Experience** + A BSEE or BSEET degree, from an ABET accredited university, preferably with a power option + A basic understanding of overhead and underground distribution circuits + Engineer in Training certificate (EIT) or ability to obtain one upon hiring + Internship or co-op experience with a utility + Manage multiple tasks and work effectively with different personalities + Travel should be expected At POWER Engineers, you can have a rewarding career on every level.
