Navistar has an exciting opportunity for a Environment & Sustainability Manager.

This role will be reporting to the Environmental & Sustainability Director within the Office of the General Counsel. This position will support environmental compliance and sustainability activities across the organization. Our team is responsible for environmental compliance and sustainability management for Navistar, a manufacturer of heavy-duty vehicles and a member of TRATON Group.

 

In this position, you will be responsible for defining and executing strategies that result in maintaining and continuously improving our environmental compliance program and advancing our sustainability ambitions. This position will oversee our ECMS (environmental compliance management system), ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) software implementation, and provide expert support for sustainability initiatives

Responsibilities Supporting Navistar facilities in their environmental compliance programsSupporting environmental audit programManaging external environmental engineering resourcesWorking with the team to manage environmental and sustainability metrics, including emissions, waste, water, and other key performance indicatorsKey role in developing sustainability goals Minimum Requirements Bachelor's degreeAt least 12 years of regulatory affairs / government relations experience2 years of lead experience

OR

Master's degreeAt least 8 years of regulatory affairs / government relations experience2 years of lead experience

OR

At least 14 years of regulatory affairs / government relations experience2 years of lead experience Additional Requirements Qualified candidates, excluding current Navistar employees, must be legally authorized on an unrestricted basis (US Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee or Asylee) to be employed in the United States.
