The Environmental Service Aide's primary responsibility is to maintain a clean environment for all patients, visitors and staff.

 

Responsibilities: 

 

Responsible for the daily routine cleaning of all patient rooms, misc. areas, offices, public areas and public restrooms, all hallways, elevators and staircases and waste removal.  The employee puts an emphasis on Infection Control procedures and Customer Service.  The employee also performs such other related duties as may be assigned or required with emphasis on hand hygiene and patient confidentiality.  The person also has to be flexible with varied shifts and weekends as needed.

 Requirements:

 

High School Diploma, GED or relevant experience is required Must be able to speak and understand English.  1 year of EVS experience in a healthcare setting preferred

 

The rate for this position is $21.40 per hour.

This range serves as a good faith estimate and actual pay will encompass a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience. The salary range or rate listed does not include any differential pay or other forms of compensation that may be applicable to this job and it does not include the value of benefits.
