We are looking for Part-Time Extended Day Educators to work in Ebensburg Area Elementary Schools before and after school hours.

What are the hours like?

What are the primary duties and responsibilities?

Supervision and Safety:

Supervise students during arrival and departure times. Ensure a safe and secure environment for all program participants.

Activity Planning and Implementation:

Plan and facilitate age-appropriate activities, including games, arts and crafts, and homework assistance. Implement a well-rounded curriculum to promote students' physical, social, and intellectual development.

Homework Assistance:

Provide support and assistance to students with homework assignments. Foster a positive attitude toward learning during homework time.

Communication:

Maintain open communication with parents, school staff, and program participants. Provide updates on students' activities and progress.

Behavior Management:

Implement behavior management strategies in accordance with program policies. Encourage positive behavior and social interactions among students.

Equipment and Supplies:

Ensure that program equipment and supplies are organized and well-maintained. Report any issues or needs to program supervisors.
