Faculty Development Graduate Research Assistant - Punteney (Summer '24 C91255)

This is a position opening for two graduate research assistants (GRAs) to support Dr. Katherine Punteney, Professor of International Education Management in developing a second edition of The International Education Handbook: Principles and Practices of the Field. This is a summer position, with potential for extension in the 2024-2025 academic year contingent on funding.   

For the second edition, materials on each sector of the field (education abroad, international enrollment management, international student and scholar services, international schools, and citizen diplomacy) will be updated. Additionally, the revision will add information on these thematic topics as they relate to international education: 

Conflict Transformation and Peacebuilding  Justice, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion   Sustainability  

The positions are remote and are open to any MIIS students located in the United States. Hours are negotiable, with 10 hours per week likely. Preference will be given to students with knowledge of the international education management field who have taken IEMG8500 Principles and Practices of International Education, the course in which this textbook is used.
