Field Service Manager - Fuel Systems – Ashburn, VA

Responsibilities:Manage service team performing installation and maintenance of fuel system components along with upgrades and consulting support of new customersImplement new SCR (selective catalytic reduction) start up servicesEnsure testing of electrical equipment are properly followed - EPS, ETS, CAD, and SCRs - electrical power systems, electrical testing systems, etc.Align with and maintain quality standards such as ISO 9000 and ISO 9001Implement mechanical and control systems projectsCompliance testing - DEQ  - UST Compliance, ATG testing, SCR TestingManage Customer relationships to help grow add on services / keep the customer happy while increasing revenue
Grow the business with both existing customers and future customersManage, hire and mentor staff of Service TechsCoordinate schedule for all site visitsServe as the point of contact for the clientSupport the sales team by serving as the technical subject matter expert on critical fuel equipment and solutionsCreate and modify installation and maintenance operational procedures for equipmentAssist with any Business Development as neededQualifications:BS - ME or EE ;Technical degree a plusRelevant work experience in Mechanical, HVAC, Electrical or Fuel - 4-8 yrs a mustMinimum of 3-5 yrs of team leadership / management in field services supporting electrical, mechanical, HVAC, Fuel, Controls or building facility servicesExperience with Fuel equipment within a data center critical facility environment a plusExtensive knowledge of diesel fuel related products and services such as controls, mechanical, and SCR (Pollution Controls / Reduction Systems) Previous experience managing or leading a service team.Requires excellent verbal, written communication skills & customer relations skillsMust be able to provide high level of quality customer service
Requires knowledge of equipment manufacturer’s specificationsBusiness Development ExperienceMust be able to provide necessary pro-active recommendations to clients
Previous experience in the Military / Military veterans in all branches that have experience with Electrical / Mechanical is a huge plus (Navy nukes- EMN, ETN, MMNs, SeaBees, Army - Power Generation, Air Force – Power Production, Generator Techs, Maritime, Coast Guard, etc.)
