Field Services Tech Desktop

Summary: Seeking a Field Services Technician to provide onsite IT support, including incident response, system set-up, and troubleshooting for a variety of platforms and systems.

Job Responsibilities:

Provide onsite IT support services including incident response, delivery, and setup of new & repaired computers.

Install additional hardware, software, and peripherals and drive vehicles as needed.

Support primarily Microsoft Windows, Macintosh, and Linux systems.

Research, analyze, diagnose, and resolve issues with computer hardware & software, peripheral equipment, and networks.

Perform computer imaging including software & hardware validation and pre-delivery testing.

Record and create documentation; assist in other teams' areas as needed.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Basic Hiring Criteria:

4+ years of related Tier 2 IT Desktop Technical support experience required.

U.S. Citizenship required with the ability to obtain a DoD Secret clearance.

Valid driver's license mandatory with use of company vehicle expected.

Proficiency in solving technical problems for users independently using current knowledge, research, and resources.

Experience with Intel-based desktops/laptops/printers; Windows/Mac OS proficiency; solid understanding of TCP/IP and DNS; familiarity with Active Directory/Exchange.

Desired Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in an IT-related field preferred but not mandatory.

Enterprise-level experience with Linux/Windows 10/Mac13.2/iOS beneficial.

Certifications such as ITIL/A+/MCP/MCSE/ACMT/HDI Support Analyst desirable.

Experience with desktop remote control tools; troubleshooting Linux OS; system management tools like Altiris favorable.

 



Pay Details: $24.00 to $33.00 per hour
