About the Position:This position will work directly under the financial officer, works collaboratively with one other financial principal and alongside an amazing financial team. This position’s main focus is on preparing quarterly reports for the boards as well as creating projections and reviewing fees with executive officers and boards to ensure a healthy cash balance. Example of Duties: + Supervision + Prepare Quarterly Reports for Executive Officers and Boards + Create 5-year projections for Executive Officers and Boards based on revenue and expenditures. + Licensure Board Fee Analysis + Assist with the implementation of a new statewide accounting system + Financial reporting, analysis, and reconciliations + Financial closing packages + Budget preparation for individuals Boards + Cost allocations + Grant accounting/ federal funds + Purchasing card/ travel + Fleet management. Minimum Qualifications Good knowledge of: + Accounting principles and practices; + Supervisory practices. Experience: + Using personal computers to develop, analyze, and report on financial data; + Monitoring/reviewing internal financial controls; + Resolving technical accounting, auditing, or budgeting problems; + Preparing financial documents for management review; + Analyzing financial activities and recommending or implementing management actions.
