Pay Range: $27.00 - $43.00 per hour

Job Summary: Sprinkler Installation Technicians are responsible for installing fire sprinkler systems and associated equipment in commercial, residential, and industrial buildings. The Fire Sprinkler Installation Technician will contribute to the safety and protection of people and property by ensuring the proper functioning of fire suppression systems.

Job Responsibilities:

Perform installations of various types of fire sprinkler systems, including wet, dry, pre-action, and deluge systems, in accordance with applicable codes, regulations, and engineering specifications. Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and specifications to determine the layout and placement of sprinkler heads, valves, and piping systems. Understand project scope of work and communicate field changes to field supervision, for change order processing. Measure, cut, thread, and connect pipes using various tools and equipment, ensuring accurate fit and alignment. Install valves, risers, and other components of fire sprinkler systems, ensuring proper functioning and compliance with regulations. Work closely with a team of technicians to coordinate installation projects, share knowledge, and ensure efficient workflow. Collaborate with other team members, such as engineers, project managers, and contractors, to coordinate installation schedules and resolve any technical issues. Maintain accurate records of installations, repairs, and inspections performed, ensuring compliance with documentation and reporting requirements. Stay updated on industry standards, best practices, and emerging technologies related to fire sprinkler systems. Adhere to safety protocols and regulations, ensuring a safe working environment for yourself and others. Other duties as assigned.
