Job Description Omni Hotels & Resorts is seeking Food & Beverage Operations Manager for the beautiful new Barton Creek Resort & Spa! We are proud to announce that we are ranked among the best resorts in Texas:Top 5 Resorts in the Southwest Conde Nast Traveler and Top 5 Resorts in Texas Travel + Leisure World's Best Awards 2023 Responsibilities + To consistently insure the maximum guest satisfaction while dining in the restaurant. + Insure that service personnel follow service protocol including steps of service. + Ensure the overall success of the restaurant by guest satisfaction surveys and utilizing financial controls + Maintain a consistently smooth running operation. + Ensure station rotation in seating. + Assist in seating or service of guests as necessary. + Will maintain and stock wine cellars. + Coordinate all functions in dining room during service. + Must have the exceptional ability to hire, train, and nurture talent. + Will provide proper training and supervision of all personnel including assistant managers and supervisors. + Monitor productivity of service staff. + Monitor and critique the quality and consistency of the food product. + Continuously check food quality and presentation coming from kitchen. + Monitor guest satisfaction and comments regarding food and service. + Review reservations on a daily basis and check against the VIP list from the front desk. + Maintain the physical atmosphere and cleanliness of the restaurant. + Make sure all equipment in good condition and clean. + Make sure work areas are being maintained neat, orderly and clean. + To contribute to the profitability of the restaurant through cost control effectiveness. + Will conduct all meetings with the staff in preparation for service and supervise the floor during the meal period to ensure all standards are met. + Constantly perform positive up-selling techniques with service staff. + Expedite table turnover and table resetting. Implement sales promotions and merchandising programs. + Be familiar with all beverage-related procedures and equipment and assist the cashier when needed. + Know and adhere to all company policies and procedures. + Know emergency procedures (including CPR) and work to prevent accidents. + Be familiar with and enforce all policies related to liquor liability laws. + Perform any and all other duties assigned and/or required by management. Qualifications + Minimum of 2 years of F&B management with experience in a 4-diamond hotel + Four-year college degree, preferred + Fine dining experience is preferred + Must be able to work weekends, holidays, and flexible hours to cover any meal period necessary including Breakfast, Brunch, Lunch, and Dinner + Must have a current TABC and a current ServSafe Manager’s Permit.
