The Food Service Worker completes assigned functions within the department, excellent customer service, operates and maintains the dietary food equipment. Through constant interactions with customers, physicians, nursing, and visitors will provide efficient, courteous, and accurate service. The Food Service Worker performs a variety of routine duties in the sanitation area of the Food Service Department. What we need from you Education/Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Experience: Previous Food Service experience preferred. Skills: Communication Building relationships Listening Computer skills Attention to detail Physical Requirements: Medium Work - Exerting up to 50 lbs. for force occasionally, and/or up to 20 lbs. of force frequently, and/or up to 10 lbs. of force constantly to move objects. Occasional balancing, climbing, crouching, grasping, hearing, kneeling, lifting, pulling, pushing, reaching, repetitive motion, standing, stooping, tactical sense, visual acuity(color, depth, perception), fit testing. Frequent typing/clerical/dexterity, seeing/monitor/computer use, talking. Constant walking. Hazards: Occasional bodily fluids/bloodborne exposure, burns, chemical. Working conditions: Occasional noise, wet and/or humid, mists, odors. Travel: The job may require travel from time-to-time, but not on a regular basis. Pay Range Salary is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and fair market evaluation based on industry standards.
