Adecco is excited to assist a client in recruiting for an onsite position as a Forklift Operator. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a dynamic team and make a significant impact!
**Location:** Denver, CO
**Type:** Temp
**Pay Rate:** $20/hour
**Hours:** Sunday - Thursday 5:00 PM to 2:30 AM
**Why You'll Love This Role:**
+ **Forklift Operation:** Safely operate a forklift to transport raw materials and finished products to the warehouse or onto trucks for customer distribution.
+ **Pre-Trip Inspections:** Perform pre-trip inspections and ensure the energy source for the lift is maintained.
+ **Equipment Management:** Operate, changeover, clean, troubleshoot, and perform basic maintenance on palletizing equipment.
+ **Quality Assurance:** Conduct hourly quality checks and inspect full goods, pallets, and other raw materials as required.
+ **Documentation:** Complete and maintain quality, inventory, and preventative maintenance documentation.
+ **Inventory Tracking:** Utilize scanning equipment to accurately track inventory within the facility.
+ **Team Collaboration:** Collaborate with other forklift drivers to prevent line stoppages and enhance operational efficiency.
+ **Work Area Maintenance:** Keep the work area organized and clean, ensuring adherence to safety standards and Good Manufacturing Practices.
**What We're Looking For:**
· **Education:** High school diploma or GED.
· **Experience:** Minimum of two years of forklift experience with a solid safety record, ideally in a fast-paced environment.
· **Manufacturing Exposure:** Prior experience in manufacturing, preferably in the food or beverage industry with knowledge of GMPs.
· **Computer Skills:** Proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook, WMS, and SAP.
· **Work Environment:** Ability to work independently or as part of a team, with strong communication skills.
· **Problem Solving:** Solid problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
· **Physical Requirements:** Ability to lift 35-40 lbs. multiple times over a 12-hour shift, with basic math and reading skills.
· **Availability:** Willingness to work holidays and weekends in a 24/7 operation.
· **Assessment:** Successful completion of an online skills assessment prior to the onsite interview.
· **Conditions:** Willingness to work in a warehouse with minimal temperature control, exposed to local temperature variations.
· **Driver's License:** Valid driver's license with no major offenses in the last three years, including DUI/DWI, reckless driving, refusal to test, leaving the scene, driving a commercial vehicle without a CDL, or at-fault fatal incidents.

**Pay Details:** $20.00 per hour
