Our client in the Wayne, New Jersey area is seeking a reliable and experienced Forklift (Reach Truck) and Electric Pallet Jack Operator to join their warehouse team. This position is based in a refrigerated facility and requires the ability to work in cold temperatures while safely operating heavy equipment. The ideal candidate will support warehouse operations by efficiently maneuvering equipment to move pallets, load/unload materials, and stack goods in designated areas. Attention to detail, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to meet daily operational deadlines are essential for success in this role.

The Day-to-Day:

Operate a reach truck and electric pallet jack to move, load, unload, and stack products throughout the facility.Assist with receiving, storing, and shipping processes, including verifying items against packing/drop lists.Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following all safety protocols, performing routine equipment inspections, and reporting maintenance issues.Support warehouse goals by managing time efficiently and optimizing workflow to meet performance targets.

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent required.Valid forklift certification with proficiency in operating a reach truck, including navigating narrow aisles and stacking at various heights.Strong understanding of warehouse safety procedures and cold storage handling.Excellent attention to detail for inventory accuracy and product verification.Must have steel-toe boots and dependable transportation.

Pay Rate:

$16.00 to $17.50 /hr
