Forklift Operator

  Pay Range: $18 - $20, DOE Schedule: Monday - Friday 7am - 430pm and half days on Saturdays through the Summer Start: ASAP

The Forklift Operator position in Windham Maine is responsible for safely operating both diesel and electric powered industrial forklifts in a warehouse and outside. You will lift, stack, load, and unload products, equipment, and material into customer vehicles, onto delivery trucks, and in the warehouse. This is a full time, first shift position! 

Job Duties:

Ensure daily checks of forklifts to ensure they are operational and safe for use Accurately build, organize, and package orders based off of orders and bill of sales.  Load customer vehicles and delivery trucks Assist with inventory control Manually palletize orders to ensure accurate product count Assist retail workers when needed Maintain a clean and safe work area Repair broken pallets as needed 

Job Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent 3-5 years of forklift experience, including the ability to inspect and ensure forklifts are safe for operation Must be able to effectively and efficiently multitask in a fast paced environment Excellent customer service skills Excellent basic math, written and verbal communication skills Ability to work outside in all weather conditions annually Must be able to lift up to 100lbs
