Job Description

Job Overview:

The Fresh Foods Support Specialist will oversee in-store execution of fresh food strategies, encompassing training, food safety protocols, operational systems, and key performance indicators (KPIs) such as sales metrics, waste management, labor efficiency, profit margins, and customer engagement. This role entails a close partnership with district, regional, and senior fresh food leadership, alongside store management to elevate fresh foods operations. Collaborative in-store efforts are essential.

Key Duties:

Collaborate with field teams to offer training, coaching, and updates on both new and ongoing initiatives.Offer support to stores needing improvement in execution, systems, and processes.Act as the primary consultant on food safety, equipment troubleshooting, and sales metrics in Fresh Food.Monitor and provide insights on food safety, Fresh Food programs, and performance metrics in both Fresh Food and beverage dispensing areas.Stay updated on technologies and tools such as PDI, Sisense, and vendor ordering relevant to fresh foods.Guide locations on optimal practices concerning food safety and program implementation.Aid in the development of innovative training materials.Be the voice of field operations within the Marketing department.

Collaboration Dynamics:

Engagement with all tiers of company staff, from the fresh food and ops management team to in-store team members, is crucial. Moreover, liaising with various departments within Nouria is a regular aspect of this role.

Qualifications & Skills:

Educational Background: High School Diploma or its equivalent, with preference for an associate degree or higher.Experience: Minimum of 1 year in-store operations. Ideally, 1+ years in a Store Manager or Fresh Food Manager role, with familiarity in Nouria's systems such as PDI, ordering processes, and reporting.Certifications: Serve Safe CertificationTechnical Proficiency: Proficiency in Excel and related software applications.Soft Skills: Aptitude in multitasking, self-drive, problem resolution, task prioritization, detail orientation, and embracing challenges. Possess a positive attitude, be driven, and be a self-starter.Other Notable Skills: Familiarity with Nouria's field operations.Travel: Daily travel to various Nouria locations is a requirement.Physical Capabilities: Aligned with the capabilities of Operations Team Members.
