Generation Division -  Senior Level Electrical Engineer

Job Summary of Roles and Responsibilities:

POWER Engineers, member of WSP is seeking a Senior Generation Electrical Engineer to work in our Generation Electrical Department. Openings are available for the Boise, ID; Overland Park, KS; and Oradell, NJ offices.

Responsibilities include:Lead electrical engineer on design of power generation projectsLead electrical engineer on design of renewable energy projectsLead electrical engineer on power plant and switchyard electrical system upgradesLead electrical engineer on federal electrical system upgradesMentor and teach junior and mid engineersProject proposal and budget developmentRequired Education/ExperienceBachelor of Science in Electrical EngineeringElectrical PE License15 - 30 years of experience leading a team of engineers and designers in power generation projects15+ years of detailed design engineering experience in power generation projects, including calculations, equipment specifications, etc.10+ years of relay coordination and schematic designCAD, Microsoft Office, and ETAP or SKM software experienceDesired Education/ExperienceMaster of Science or MBAOnsite construction support experience
