This is not your average desk job—you’ll be out in the field 70–80% of the time, working on a wide range of commercial and residential projects across the five boroughs. What You’ll Be Doing:Conducting geotechnical field investigations including soil sampling, coring, and boring.Performing on-site inspections and providing technical support throughout NYC.Utilizing AutoCAD to design deep foundations, support of excavation (SOE), underpinning systems, and retaining walls.Writing detailed geotechnical reports including load test details, drilling logs, soil/rock classifications, and calculations.What You Bring to the Table:Experience with soil boring, drilling, test pits, and geotechnical investigations.Familiarity with deep foundation systems, excavation, and soil testing.Proficiency in AutoCAD; bonus if you’ve worked with gINT, Slide/SLOPE/W, PLAXIS, LPILE, GRLWEAP, MSEW, or SHAKE.Strong technical writing skills for reports and field documentation.Preferred Qualifications:EIT or PE license (or working toward it).Master’s degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering (preferred, not required).OSHA 30, OSHA SST, or HAZWOPER 40 (training provided if needed).Why You’ll Love It Here:Be part of transformational projects that impact millions.Work in a fast-paced, hands-on environment where no two days are the same.Join a team that values technical excellence, safety, and innovation.Competitive compensation and career growth opportunities.Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $100000.00/yr.
