Global Shares - Reconciliations Analyst

Job Responsibilities:

Ensure business procedures and internal controls comply with month end timelines Provide support to the AP and AR teams as needed as well as participate in adhoc projects Complete daily reconciliation of all trading activity including all transfers of shares and funds, share movements versus share custody balances as well as all funds versus client asset account balances Implement timely and accurate reporting as per Central Bank of Ireland requirements  Create efficient and scalable internal processes which are MiFID compliant as well as identify how IT development could enhance the efficiency of the reconciliations process and feed back into IT Promote escalation of any issues/mis-matches which arise as a matter of urgency as well as maintain constant contact with the trading department regarding transactions Provide a link between trading and compliance in relation to MiFID reporting as well as detail and document workflow procedures to include MiFID compliant changes as appropriate as recommended by Global Shares Compliance team

Excellent communication skills with strong attention to detail Strong organizational and administration skills, with ability to anticipate business needs quickly Be a self-starter who is motivated, innovative and ambitious Experience of working in a busy accounting environment with tight deadlines Demonstrate commercial acumen with an ability to be innovative & pro-active

Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills

Experience in Share Plan or similar industry desirable but not required  Third level degree in Business/Finance or equivalent experience preferred SAP/SAGE experience an advantage
