Required Education:

Some College Montana State University- Bozeman is seeking applicants for the position of Marketing and Game Operations Graduate Assistant. The Marketing and Game Operations Graduate Assistant will be a member of the MSU Athletics external team and provide support to the department’s 15 different sports. This position is a two-year position with the candidate pursuing a graduate degree from Montana State University-Bozeman.

Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Assist in creating and implementing marketing plans for sports, including football, basketball, volleyball, track, tennis, cross country, rodeo, and more.  Create strategies for fan engagement and attendance including organizing and growing the MSU student section for each sport, and Champ’s Kids Club Training and monitoring of interns within the external affairs unit Act as marketing liaison to assigned special marketing initiatives, including promotional event planning In-game production of assigned sports including creating scripts for sponsored promotions Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

Earned Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution of higher education in Marketing, Sports Administration, Communications, or a related field Enrollment and/or acceptance in a Montana State University graduate program for fall term 2024 At least one year of relevant athletic experience (volunteer/hourly will be considered) Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills, including both verbal and written High-energy work ethic Ability to work nights and weekends Preferred: Experience using Adobe Creative Suite, Daktronics, Microsoft Office Suite, and Google Drive
