Job Summary:


The principal responsibilities of this position are to assist Brokers / Agents with product solutions and customer service issues, while maintaining client data files, supporting specific accounts with administrative, marketing and underwriting resources as a liaison with selected insurance companies.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Provide product information, administration, service and support for coverages that may include, but are not limited; Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, ADD, Short and Long Term Disability, Statutory State Disability

Coordinate product information between Broker & Carriers

Prepare RFP’s to send to selected carriers, follow-up timelines & documenting proposals results for management.

Utilize website tools to generate quotes, proposals and provide assistance with product enrollment

File, maintain and create related correspondence for all client & broker files, policies & database as assigned with time lines for projects and daily tasks as assigned

Review, generate and maintain routine correspondence pertaining to Enrollment Materials, Plan Booklets, Billing Statements and Policy Changes etc.

Request, review, file and confirm all policy changes; i.e. rate benefit spreadsheets and proposals

Process, review and maintain policy new & renewal business process: application enrollment forms, employer material, submission etc. 

Initiate, generate and forward all notices for policy changes, client information sheet, assemble/update client files. Verify rates and plan design to client, carrier & staff.

Administer, service and maintain assigned policy blocks of business book

Job Requirements:

3 to 5 years desired in the insurance industry with working knowledge of Group Employee Benefit Product and Service.

Experience in the administration, service and oversight of client accounts and policy service as required.

College degree or equivalent education and insurance related designation preferred

Proficient computer skills, word, excel. Articulate & Professional.

Pay Details:

Annual Salary: $75,000 - $85,000
