Open interviews every Tuesday and Thursday from 10am - 12pm. Walk-in and take a tour with a manager! **_What Your Day-to-Day Activities Will Be…_** + Joins, fabricates, and repairs metal and other weldable material by applying appropriate welding techniques + Ability to lay-out, burn holes, fit and weld nozzles + Interprets blueprints, specifications, diagrams or schematics to determine appropriate welding process + Inspects completed welds to determine structural soundness + Performs a variety of tasks + Promotes and supports safety and production + Makes quality visual U.T. and x-ray welds **_Your Education Should Be…_** High school diploma or its equivalent required **_Your Physical Work Environment Will Require…_** **WORKING CONDITIONS:** + Must be able to work inside and outside **REQUIRED PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT (PPE) WHILE IN THE SHOPS** + Safety Glasses + Steel Toe Shoes + Ear Plugs + Gloves + Hard Hats + Face Shield (when needed) **PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:** + Walking + Standing + Using hands + Bending + Lifting + Sitting **_Your Professional Experience Should Be…_** **Minimum Experience:** 1-3 years related experience **Skills Required (i.e. certifications, licenses, registrations, etc.):** May be required to complete an apprenticeship and/or formal training in area of specialty **REQUIREMENTS - MUST BE ABLE TO DO THE FOLLOWING:** + Ability to read and interpret shop drawings + Ability to operate overhead-crane + Familiarity with welding machines and hand tools + Knowledge of standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field + Ability to rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals + Ability to work under general supervision + Ability to work different shifts + Ability to pass 6G Tig test on carbon steel 2” pipe + Ability and willingness to learn to operate basic cutting equipment + Ability to lift + Possesses positive attitude **_Chart is an equal opportunity employer_**
