This is a key role having the overall accountability to achieving sales success and growth for Siemens Healthineers by developing customised solutions for our customers.
The Healthcare Solutions (HCS) Consultant provides provision of consulting services to diagnostic customers. The HCS consultant will visit hospital laboratories to collect information from the customer site and determine the best solution to fulfil customer needs with Siemens Healthineers portfolio. They will elaborate workflow recommendations and communicates the results of the analysis with the commercial team, and customer.
Focusing on three key areas:
In the pre-sales phase, they will:
- Be responsible for evaluating the current situation in the lab and design the solution based on the analysis (with the necessary sales arguments) - They will prepare, floor plans and presentations for customers and supports the team in tender responses, especially for complex and automation projects During the implementation phase, they will: - Collaborate with the Project Manager (PM) IT and Service Team to support on a smooth transition; and verifies that the designed workflow during the pre-sales is implemented, proposing adjustment if needed
In the post-sales phase, the consultant performs:
- Lab optimization on strategic and selected accounts focusing on lab instruments and automation performance to evaluate the lab workflow and processes - They will be responsible for identifying areas of improvement and quantify it to generate value to customer and Siemens Healthineers through business opportunities
The healthcare consultant will have direct interaction with customers (in different levels of the organization) and internally with sales, IT, projects marketing, and other departments. It’s required availability to travel inside the country and international (up to 60% of time).
This is done through workflow and data analysis and is developed in collaboration with other colleagues within the commercial organisation. Upon winning automation business then engage with customers as they Transition their processes, guiding and mentoring them to get from current to future state with the most efficient processes possible. Engage with customers throughout the solution lifecycle to maintain and improve the efficiency of the solution. To provide workflow consultation and solutions to improve customers operations.
Essential requirements:
- Background in pathology, preferably in a laboratory environment - Previous experience in healthcare consulting and development solutions - Degree level education in sciences - Experience in similar role
