ConGlobal is seeking an experienced Diesel Mechanic for our location in Stockton, CA

 

As a Heavy Equipment Mechanic, you are responsible for assessing and repairing Heavy Duty Lift Equipment at the Railyard.

Competitive Starting Pay: $33.00 – $36.00 hourly, depending on experience.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities

Identifies problems with Mechanical, Hydraulic, Diesel, & electrical systems and perform repairsReads & understands Hydraulic schematics (Pumps, Valves, Motors, Filters, and HosesUnderstanding of Diesel Engines, Fuel Systems, & DiagnosticsAbility to repair driveline components (Axles, bearings, ring, etc.)Troubleshoots and repairs diesel engines (Cummins)Performs maintenance & mechanical repairs on side loaders (Loaded Container Handler), Hostlers (Semi Tractor), Forklifts, support equipment, etcMaintain routine maintenance schedules on all Heavy Terminal Fleet Equipment

Basic Qualifications:

1-3 years of Heavy Equipment Mechanic / Service Technician experience requiredAbility to lift 50lbsPrevious crane mechanic experience not required but a plusHydraulic systems experience required (Pumps, valves, motors, filters, and hoses)Must have a Valid Driver’s LicenseAbility to work in various weather conditionsAble to work in a safety focus environment
