Histology Technician

The Histology technician is responsible for preparing pathology and autopsy tissues for examination by the Pathologist; assist the Pathologist in gross specimen examination and frozen section procedures; performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

High School diploma  Licensed as a Certified Clinical Laboratory Technician or Certified Histological Technician under the NYS Department of Education Minimum of 1 year successful experience in Histology desired Good oral and written communication skills essential.

 

The pay for this position ranges from $33.95 – 45.00 per hour.
