WHAT YOU’LL DOJob Summary:
Perform a full range of testing on all patient tissue and fluids submitted to the histology department. Prepares quality microscopic slides for the pathologist to review in a timely manner. Operates and maintains laboratory equipment. Complies with all safety/infection control policies and procedures. Must have complete understanding of histology/cytology procedures and the knowledge to troubleshoot problems encountered during testing.Reports:

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO APPLYRequired Education:
Graduate of an accredited histology training program (including hospital based).
Required Experience:
Minimum: None, will consider recent graduates of an accredited histology training program.
Required Certification/License/Registry: State of Florida, Histology technician
