The Oasis operates the historic AAA Four Diamond Inn and Ranch, restaurants, gift shops, and the world's lowest elevation golf course. Both hotels are open year-round and feature swimming pools fed by naturally warm local springs. We’re hiring Housekeepers to Live. Work. Explore. in Death Valley National Park! Job Summary: Clean guest accommodations according to established standards. The Details: Position Type: Full-time year-round or Seasonal Start Dates: April or May 2024 Pay: $16.65 Schedule: Typical schedule is 40 hours, 5 days/per week (may include weekends, evenings, and holidays) Why the Oasis at Death Valley? Responsibilities Responsible for cleanliness and upkeep of employee and guest facilities including, but not limited to, restrooms, showers, outdoor seating/gathering areas, building hallways, offices, outdoor walkways, pool areas, and function/event areas. Cleans windows, floors, and doors as assigned. Performs regular dusting and cleaning of all outdoor and indoor light fixtures Empties trash and recycling from all public garbage cans Cleans, maintains, and restocks departmental golf cart after every shift. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications At least 6 months to 1 year previous customer service experience. Must have a valid Driver’s License Must be able to work independently. Must be available for AM and PM Houseperson shifts. Physical Requirements include: Must be able to lift 50 pounds. Must be able to bend, push, pull, kneel, lift and stand for extended periods of time. Must be able to work in extreme temperatures. We are an Equal Opportunity Employer.
