The HR Compliance Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing HR projects to support compliance with Federal, state, local, and provincial laws and regulations in the US and Canada.
This individual will work closely with cross-functional teams and external parties to integrate plans and coordinate execution for large cross-functional projects requiring multiple workstreams.
This role will ensure alignment and engagement by building strong relationships with cross-functional teams and external parties to ensure that implemented solutions and processes adhere to compliance requirements and meet business needs.
Responsibilities include identifying necessary controls to remediate gaps reviewing vendor documents, advising on risk mitigation, implementing controls, and ensuring compliance scope transitions are carried out seamlessly.
Including involves developing and implementing HR policies and procedures, conducting regular audits, and addressing potential compliance issues.
Participate in, and lead where appropriate, strategic cross-functional projects for critical compliance deliverables. Manage projects from inception to completion, fostering a culture of compliance by integrating systems and processes, and leading change management initiatives to ensure smooth implementations. Collaborate with various stakeholders, manage resources, and maintain project documentation while also staying updated on industry trends to drive best-in-class compliant HR processes.
