HR Generalist
Join us as the Human Resources Generalist at our Winter Haven, FL plant, where you'll lead all HR operations and make a direct impact on our people and culture. In this highly visible role, you'll handle everything from employee relations and talent acquisition to training, benefits, and compliance, ensuring a positive and seamless experience for both hourly and salaried employees. You'll work closely with plant leadership to drive engagement, support continuous improvement, and foster a workplace where employees feel supported and empowered. If you're passionate about making a difference and ready to own the HR function, we want to hear from you! + Lead employee relations efforts by investigating workplace issues, mitigating risk, advising on HR matters, guiding disciplinary actions, fostering employee engagement, and supporting policy development to ensure compliance and alignment with company values. + Responsible for managing the full-cycle recruitment process, including job requisitions, interviewing, compensation analysis, and onboarding, while partnering with Plant Management to maintain up-to-date job descriptions and ensure equitable salary recommendations. + Oversee non-exempt payroll, ensure HR policy compliance through audits, manage employee data changes, and maintain accurate, up-to-date HRIS records for hourly employees. + Manage employee benefits support and communications, coordinate leave of absence processes and benefit programs, and collaborate with vendors and leadership on annual enrollment, bonus, and merit cycles to ensure smooth administration and employee understanding. + Evaluate and enhance training programs in collaboration with HR and Plant Leadership, ensure compliance with safety and OSHA requirements, and manage training documentation and reporting for corporate and compliance purposes. - - + A bachelor’s Degree in Business, Human Resources, or a related field is required- + Bilingual English and Spanish is preferred. + Three to five years of experience as an HR Generalist or a similar role is required + Certification in HR (SHRM-CP, PHR, etc.) strongly preferred + Comprehensive understanding of employment legislation and regulations. + Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office applications + Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information + Must demonstrate a proper sense of urgency, decisiveness, integrity, and ability to make appropriate decisions. + Strong attention to detail + Skills in reporting and analysis + Excellent critical thinking and creative problem-solving skills. + Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and oral) Through the responsible development of innovative and sustainable building products,-CertainTeed, headquartered in Malvern, Pennsylvania, has helped shape the building products industry for more than 110 years.
