HR Generalist
MAU is hiring a Human Resources Generalist at our client in Jacksonville, FL. As a Human Resources Generalist, you will be responsible for Human Resource related duties including new hire onboarding, employee relations, training, policy administration, HRIS, and employee communication. This is a direct-hire opportunity.

Benefits Package 401k matching Health, dental, and vision insurance Paid vacation Paid holidays On-the-job training Shift Information 1st shift, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Required Education and Experience Bachelor’s degree 3 – 5+ years of relevant experience Experience in utilizing and maintaining a full functional integrated HRIS system (Oracle platform preferred) General Requirements Detailed knowledge of operations and procedures to resolve straightforward issues Good understanding of how the other sectors of business interplay and affect the department Provide professional services using standard procedure and specific knowledge Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint) Outstanding verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills Self-starter and able to work independently Ability to work in a team-based environment Ability to demonstrate flexibility to changing work priorities Very strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to maintain confidentiality of data Hearing is required in order to hear instructions, receive information from various sources, and understand safety warnings Vision is required in order to read instructions, interpret data, and formulate metrics Essential Functions Manage the consistent administration of human resource policies and practices Oversee hourly hiring process for assigned facility Establish and maintain effective working relationships with leadership and employees to coordinate human resource actions Communicate information and address any employee issues Conduct investigations to effectively resolve employee grievances Facilitate training, including new hire orientation with employees Maintain data integrity in personnel files and HRIS system Coordinate programs and events such as employee recognition and employee appreciation Ensure that employee records are accurate, complete, and legally compliant Support goals and objectives of the HR Department on a corporate, regional, and local level Assist with corporate reporting needs Maintain confidentiality, integrity, and ethical standards Identify and resolve immediately problems affecting team Research and analyze data from familiar areas to determine appropriate actions Update or modify working methods in own role based on defined procedures Exercise judgment in the interpretation of policies and procedures Supervise and coordinate efficient use of resources Lead operational team members Ensure achievement of results on a short-term basis Organize most aspects of own work according to pre-established deadlines and priorities Work collaboratively with team members to deliver outputs Provide guidance, advice, and answers to members of the team Regularly train or act as a resource Provide information of a specialized nature and when requested, interpretation through circumscribed research Make day-to-day decisions that affect the operational and/or sales effectiveness of the team Act as first point of contact for technical input or escalation to resolve immediate issues Operate with standardized practices and processes Supervise progress and results Perform other tasks as assigned Travel 25% #PS
