Qualifications:
+ 5+ years of HR manager experience.
+ Experience handling employee relations, compliance, payroll, and other HR functions.
+ Proficiency in computer usage, with knowledge of Paylocity being a plus.
+ Background in the manufacturing industry.
+ Proficiency in Excel.
+ Bachelor's degree. (Preferred)
Work Environment
This position operates in a nice office environment with cubicle or office space provided. The work hours are Monday through Friday, from 7:30am to 4:30pm, and it is onsite 5 days a week with no remote option. The company celebrates accomplishments and hosts events in the office.
Job Description
This role involves delegating work to the Generalist as needed and assisting with employee relations matters for both skilled and unskilled staff. The Human Resources Manager will ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, help with day-to-day HR operations, and provide knowledge on compliance and legal matters.
Responsibilities
+ Cover for the Director during their leave.
+ Delegate work to the Generalist as needed.
+ Assist with employee relations matters for both skilled and unskilled staff.
+ Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
+ Help with day-to-day HR operations and be open to getting hands dirty.
+ Provide knowledge on compliance and legal matters.
+ Investigate urgent employee relations matters and assist in closing cases in a timely manner.
+ Assist with HR escalations.
+ Perform administrative and day-to-day HR tasks.
+ Assist other sites virtually if needed.
+ Handle general office duties, assist with various administrative tasks, and support other departments where needed.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $43.26 - $52.88/hr.
