Human Resources Assistant

Primary Purpose

Provides support to the Employee Relations Manager. Handles daily administration and Human Resources duties while serving as the face of the company in assisting our hourly and salaried employees, staffing agencies and potential candidates with daily needs, direction and HR support.  The HR Assistant keys data and provides information and reports as required. DAY SHIFT

Major Duties & Responsibilities

Provides outstanding customer service/information to all internal and external customers. Data entry in various systems such as Oracle HCM, Ultimate Kronos Group (UKG) and Oracle 12c. Responsible for HR reports, processes, entering data, filing, phone communication and administering all HR concerns to approriate personnel. Uniformly apply corporate HR policies, procedures and programs within the HR area Input all data accordingly into HRIS system Supports ERM, and all general areas to ensure guidance and direction is provided for all HR needs Promote a culture of safety, encouraging all to follow company protocols.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required. Associate degree preferred. Clerical experience required. Bilingual (Spanish/Creole) preferred but not required. Excellent customer service skills. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to resolve problems quickly. Familiar with databases and/or common Human Resources systems. Detail-oriented. Ability to work in a high volume/fast-paced environment. Proficiency with Excel, Word, HCM and Kronos. Some Saturday work, flexible schedule and some overtime required.
