Description We are looking for a skilled and motivated Human Resources (HR) Manager to join our team in West Palm Beach, Florida. This Contract-to-permanent position offers the opportunity to contribute to a non-profit organization by supporting key HR functions, fostering positive employee relations, and ensuring compliance with policies and regulations. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in recruitment, benefits administration, employee relations, and training to help drive organizational success.
Responsibilities:
• Support recruitment efforts by reviewing resumes, conducting pre-screening processes, and collaborating with hiring managers to ensure effective candidate selection.
• Provide accurate and timely responses to employee inquiries regarding benefits, demonstrating a thorough understanding of available options.
• Administer leave processes, including medical leave, in compliance with organizational policies and legal requirements.
• Facilitate new employee orientation, update employee data in Paylocity, and coordinate background and fingerprinting appointments.
• Deliver training to employees and managers on topics such as policies, procedures, benefits, and harassment prevention.
• Investigate and resolve employee concerns or conflicts in a timely and respectful manner, assisting with detailed investigations as needed.
• Process and distribute performance evaluations, ensuring timely completion through follow-up with managers.
• Interpret and communicate HR policies and procedures to employees and management to ensure understanding and compliance.
• Provide guidance and support to organizational leadership on HR-related matters.
• Participate in department activities and meetings to stay informed of new developments and contribute to team initiatives. Requirements • Proven experience in human resources, including recruitment, benefits administration, and employee relations.
• Proficiency in HR systems such as ADP Workforce Now, Ceridian, or similar tools.
• Strong understanding of compliance requirements and HR policies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with employees at all levels.
• Ability to manage and resolve conflicts while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.
• Familiarity with HCM and ATS systems is preferred.
• Experience conducting employee training and facilitating orientation for new team members.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail when managing multiple HR responsibilities. TalentMatch®
