Visit our website at www.rheinmetall-arv-us.com Job Title: Human Resources Intern Department: Human Resources FLSA Status: Non-Exempt Summary: The HR Intern will support day-to-day HR functions while assisting with Post Merger Integration (PMI) activities. This role offers hands-on experience in HR operations, employee onboarding, and integration tasks, as well as supporting the smooth transition and alignment of policies, systems, and culture following a merger. Responsibilities: + Assist with the onboarding of new employees, including documentation and orientation. + Help with data entry and management of employee records in HR systems. + Support the integration of company policies, benefits, and compensation structures post-merger. + Assist in the coordination of training and communication efforts related to PMI. + Help with employee engagement and culture integration activities. + Provide general HR support in areas such as performance management, compliance, and reporting. Competencies: + Strong organizational and time-management skills. + Excellent written and verbal communication skills. + Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive employee information. + Adaptability and eagerness to learn in a dynamic, changing environment. + Team-oriented with the ability to collaborate across different departments. + Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills. Education and/or Experience: + Pursuing a bachelor’s degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university and one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Background Prerequisites: + Must undergo and meet company standards for background check, employment verification, reference checks and controlled substance testing. Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
