Opportunity Snapshot:

Compensation: $58-79/hour, DOE
Location: Pasadena, TXWork Schedule: 9/80 (every other Friday off)Assignment Duration: 18 months+Benefits: Comprehensive insurance with 401(k), holidays and PTO Responsibilities Responsible for all technical and engineering aspects of assigned projects, from developing the scope to commissioning and closureDirect and manage small to large capital projects from beginning to endDefine project scope, goals and deliverables that support plant requirements in collaboration with managementDevelop any and all associated project documents including detailed list of engineering and design specifications for the deliverables of the scope; Inquiry to Bid (ITB) packages for contractors and EPC firms, etcEstimate project cost, submit budget proposals, and recommend subsequent budget changes where necessaryDevelop timelines and identify resources needed to execute the project on time and on budget. Plan, schedule, and track project timelines and milestonesSelect equipment, piping, electrical & instrumentation, civil, structural, vendor/contractors through the bid process when applicableWhere required, negotiate with vendor/supplier to meet the project budget/process requirementAssist in transferring projects to production department by ensuring proper operation of installed equipment and training personnel on new equipment/systems/processes.Adhere to all safety policies onsite and participate in project HAZOPs and PHAsMake recommendations for process/production and department improvements.Special projects and assignments as needed to support administration and technical labs Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering; Bachelors of Science in Electrical Engineering10+ years in Engineering and chemical/refinery operations3+ years experience in Project ManagementHeavy Electrical experience preferredProject Management Professional (PMP) preferredExposure to PSM Process that includes MOCAutoCAD, MS Project, Office, and SAP experience preferred
