The Inbound Planner will play a critical role in our continued Supply Chain growth. With a network spanning multiple Distribution and Home Delivery Centers, we are in an exciting time of transformation. This role will continue to expand our capabilities along with additional transparency, insight, and accountability of our carriers. 

This is a hybrid position based out of our Northbrook, IL office. This role typically works in the office 3 days each weekThis role is an Individual Contributor position 


A day in the life as an Inbound Planner

Support execution of inbound shipments to DCs, ensuring accurate shipping plans and schedules, including transportation optimization, return logistics and peak season strategiesInteract with Field Leadership, Vendors, Loss Prevention, and transportation providers to ensure overall execution of CBH service/standardsPlan and communicate the truck capacity requirements and ensure an adequate supply of truck power and trailersEnsure steady flow of inbound and outbound movements, resulting in the timely arrival of merchandise to DCs and maximum utilization of lowest cost carriers

Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Business or Industrial Engineering with 2+ years of relatable experience or Equivalent Experience
