Indirect Tax Manager (Hybrid)

The Indirect Tax Manager is a corporate tax position providing tax leadership to our high-growth Renewable, Energy, Design and Construction efforts. Reporting to the Indirect Tax Director, the Manager will provide end-to-end tax insight and support to project pursuits, operations, and post-construction activities.

PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Work with Tax team to provide valuable tax support to our businesses Work directly with customers, vendors and PSC team members on tax matters Participate in the strategic development of procurement and billing procedures Provide estimates of sales/use tax impact on projects Manage tax exemptions, resale certificates, tax abatements and other processes Conduct internal audits of tax matters impacting projects Train others on tax processes Tax planning, research and writing Collaborate with business development, estimating and operations departments

 

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor degree required A minimum of five (5) years of professional experience in U.S. sales and use tax compliance and consulting CPA or CMI certification preferred Strong interpersonal and writing/research skills Self-disciplined, motivated, able to work with limited direct supervision, self-sufficient problem solver Able to quickly adjust to changing priorities, assimilate directives with little guidance and take initiative An unwavering dedication to continual process improvement
