Roles and Responsibilities

Collaborate with senior engineers to develop, test, and deploy programmable logic controller (PLC) programs, ensuring seamless automation and control of machinery and equipment across various industrial settings.Design intuitive human-machine interface (HMI) and supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) systems, empowering operators to efficiently monitor and manage industrial processes.Contribute to the design and development of hardware components, including sensors, actuators, and control systems, adhering to global industry standards and ensuring reliability and performance.Conduct rigorous testing and meticulous debugging of PLC programs and hardware systems, swiftly identifying and resolving issues to meet project deadlines and quality standards.Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of PLC programs, hardware designs, and system configurations, ensuring seamless knowledge transfer and streamlined project management.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assist in the execution of automation and control projects, providing technical support during system installation, commissioning, and post-implementation phases.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related, with minimum of 3.3 GPA, MS and PhD a plusUnited States Citizenship is required due to US Government ITAR program restrictionsAbility to obtain a DoD security clearanceControls EngineerSTEM related BS with 4 years of industrial controls experienceSTEM related MS with 2 years of industrial controls experience STEM related AS with 6 years of industrial controls experienceEx-Military with 8 years of industrial controls experienceHigh School Diploma with 12 years of industrial controls experienceAssociate Controls EngineerSTEM related BS with 1 year of industrial controls experienceSTEM related AS with 2 years of industrial controls experienceHigh School Diploma with 4 years of industrial controls experienceThe following experience is not required, but highly desirable:Military experience o High speed communications developmentTÜV functional safety certificateFamiliarity with MODBUS and CANbus communicationsDesired CharacteristicsStrong theoretical and mathematical background; with ability to understand new concepts and ability to learn fast.Creative, passionate, team playerAutonomous, curious with the ability to understand new concepts and to learn fast from experienced engineers, integrate into a teamSalary Range: $80,000-$180,000 per year
