Job Description

The Industrial Maintenance Mechanic inspects, repairs, replaces, adjusts and maintains glass forming machines and related equipment, involving highly skilled work. 

The Industrial Maintenance Mechanic will:

Inspect glass forming machines and miscellaneous factory operating machines, related parts and componentsMakes line repair adjustments to glass forming machinesLays out work, makes setups and operates shop equipment and machine tools to repair or make required partsWeld, braze, scrape, solder and cut various types of metals necessary for maintenance repairs and fabrication of new components and equipmentDetermines cause of breakdown or required repairs, reconditioning or replacements

The Industrial Maintenance Mechanic should have:

Experience installing, maintaining and troubleshooting various types of machineryExperience reading blue prints, wiring diagrams, shop hand books and layoutsExperience utilizing hand and power tools, including but not limited to, boring machine, grinder, power saw, drill press, caliper, micrometer, protractor, gauges, wrenches, chisels, files and scrapers.

Qualifications

Must be able to work a rotating shift, with weekend and holiday requirements

Minimum of three (3) years industrial mechanical experienceMust be able to pass a mechanical skills test in order to be consideredLathe and Milling experience preferred, but not requiredHigh School degree or GEDBasic PC literacy (Word, email, basic data entry)Able to lift 40 lbs. on a regular basisMust be authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis.

Hourly Pay: $37.92
