HOW AN INFORMATION SECURITY ANALYST ADVISOR WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
● Performs all procedures necessary to ensure the safety of information systems assets and to protect systems from intentional or inadvertent access or destruction
● Understands Department of Defense (DOD) RMF based Assessment and Authorization (A&A) processes and procedures
● Understands CIS-based A&A processes and associated stand-alone Security Control Traceability Matrix (SCTM) development
● Executes applicable test and verification methods for security requirements/controls
● Executes applicable domain-based security tools (Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) Secure Content Automation Protocol (SCAP), ACAS, and Nessus)
● Performs analysis of, and develops reports for, system test results across multiple security domains
● Using XACTA, eMASS, and manual processes; develops and reviews RMF and CIS A&A packages across commercial and DOD unclassified and classified domains
● Ability to independently assess RMF security controls and develop supporting documentation
● Ensures security controls are implemented correctly, operating as intended, and are producing the desired outcome
● This position requires interaction with DoD community customers and industry providers
● Maintains current knowledge of industry standard Information Assurance best practices
● Participates in special projects as required
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
● Education: Technical Training, Certification(s) or Degree: BA/BS or equivalent years of experience
● Required Experience: 5+ years of related experience
● Required Technical Skills: RMF, XACTA, eMASS, ACAS, DISA STIGs
● Certification: 8570 certification: IAM Level II Certification (CAP, CASP+ CE, CISM, CISSP (or Associate), GSLC, CCISO)
● Security Clearance Level: TOP SECRET with SCI
● Required Skills and Abilities: Analysis and documentation of testing results
● Location: On Customer Site, MacDill AFB, FL
● US Citizenship Required
