Carollo Engineers is an internationally recognized civil and environmental engineering firm that specializes in the planning, design, and construction of water and wastewater facilities. We are seeking all experience levels of infrastructure engineers. Carollo’s infrastructure engineers specialize in challenging projects outside of the treatment plant, including: the planning and design of water/wastewater pipelines, pump stations, trenchless pipelines, pipeline seismic retrofits, deep wastewater pump stations, river intakes, and many other diverse projects.

Responsibilities Serve as an engineer on the planning, design, construction, and/or commissioning of water, wastewater, recycled water, and stormwater infrastructure projects of various sizes. Projects may include but are not limited to master planning, pipelines, pump stations, and storage facilities. Perform data entry and analysisPerform system modeling, process calculations, and hydraulic calculations to size and select facilitiesPrepare cost estimatesPerform permitting and alternatives analysis Prepare technical memoranda, reports, plans and specifications, and other deliverablesPerform engineering services during construction, including but not limited to reviewing contractor submittals for conformance with contract plans and specifications and evaluating requests for informationCoordinate the work of other engineering disciplines, designers, modelers, technicians, and others who assist in specific assignmentsParticipate in field activities, such as site visits, overseeing field work, and pilot testingTravel may be required Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering or related engineering field0 - 8 years of experience in planning, design, and/or construction of water, wastewater, reuse, and/or stormwater infrastructure projectsEIT Certification or passed FE examAbility to apply critical thinking, analysis, and innovative techniques to develop options and recommendations to solve technical problemsStrong verbal and written communication skillsAbility to communicate effectively with clients and project teamsWork well in a team environmentHighly motivated and self-startingProficient in MS Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint Preferred Qualifications Master’s degree in Civil Engineering Pay Range

$70,000 to $125,000 annually. This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. An employee’s pay within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs.
