Inside Part Sales Person
Ziegler Cat has an opening for a full-time Inside Parts Sales Person to serve our customers. We are looking for a dedicated employee with a strong work ethic and excellent organizational, customer service, and communication skills to help support our growth.

Responsibilities:

Provides superior customer service face-to-face or over the telephone to customersHelps customers determine correct parts needed, verify availability, and make recommendationsDetermines the correct parts and their availability, and completes parts ordersDetermines the supplying facility and mode of transportation for parts shipmentEnters proper shipping information into the parts ordering system to process the order and generate an invoiceProcesses backorders, returns, and exchangesAssists their team with group and team sales, providing a link and collaboration between different departments during the sales processCommunicates with customers for sales, follow-ups, and addressing potential issuesWorks in a cooperative manner with team and superiorsPrepares quotes for service work, as well as engines, machines, and partsAssists customers with basic issues or concerns by taking action, providing alternatives, or escalating the issue to the more experienced team memberMaintains a safe and productive workplace, keeping in mind the specific environmental standards of the department


Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED required; 2-year degree preferred2+ years in diesel engine, construction or agriculture equipment, or automotive parts or serviceUp to 4 years of experience preferredPositive attitude and desire to work as a team playerBasic computer skills (navigation, searching) and Microsoft Outlook (email)Basic telephone experienceBasic customer service skillsPersonal characteristics: Customer Focus, Teamwork, Learning Orientation, Efficiency, Sociability

Minimum Physical Requirements:

Standing, sitting, walking, use of hands, talking, hearing
